Fireworks, BBQs and More! Celebrate Fourth of July Near Chestnut Square

After several years without celebrations due to COVID-19, Chester County is ready to celebrate this Fourth of July with fireworks displays well worth watching and more. Here are three places to check out this year while celebrating the Fourth of July near Chestnut Square.

Longwood Gardens Fireworks and Fountains

Before the actual holiday, be sure to stop by our favorite Chester County destination, Longwood Gardens, July 3 at 9:15 p.m. for a “Fireworks and Fountains” display said to be truly memorable. Independence Day Celebration at Historic Waynesborough

Also on Sunday, July 3 from noon to 3 p.m., PhilaLandmarks and Historic Waynesborough invite the community for a free Independence Day celebration at the Historic Waynesborough for a catered picnic, serving BBQ foods and more.

Lawn games, house tours and the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution will present their Color Guard with their collection of historic flags beginning at 1 p.m. Learn more about July 3 at Waynesborough.

Fireworks at Wilson Farm Park in Tredyffrin

Bring your lawn chairs for an experience of patriotic sounds by the Chester County Concert Band. Then, prepare yourself for a fireworks extravaganza beginning at dusk. Kona Ice will also be at the park serving up sweet treats. Learn more about Tredyffrin’s July 4 fireworks celebration.
