Enjoy Fall at the Chaddsford Winery

October 7, 2016

Fall means cozy jackets, changing leaves, and warm ciders. You can enjoy all three this weekend not too far from home! A 40-minute drive from Chestnut Square is one of the oldest wineries in Pennsylvania, the Chaddsford Winery.

If cider is your favorite fall treat, the Chaddsford Hard Cider is definitely worth tasting. In fact, Chaddsford offers wine and cider tastings at both their winery and Peddler’s Village  (45 Peddlers Village, New Hope, PA 18938) locations seven days a week. Chaddsford also offers complimentary winery tours on most Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm and 4pm.

Why head up to Chaddsford this weekend? Well, this weekend and every weekend in October, the Winery is hosting what they call “Adult Trick or Treating”, a fun walking tour of the winery that features 5 different festive “wine-and-treat” stations for visitors to enjoy. Halloween isn’t just for kids and college students anymore! The fun begins at 1pm and ends at 6pm on Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays.

Take one day this weekend and enjoy the autumn with a great wine and lots of fun courtesy of your local and respected winery. For additional details on the Chaddsford Winery as well as events and tours, head to their website.
