Sip Under the Stars at This Town Favorite

And as the weather cools down and the town continues to open up, the opportunities for outdoor fun will abound. With all of that potential, it may sound a little unexpected to say that one of the town’s best fall events is set to take place in a parking garage—but that’s exactly what’s in store for Up on the Roof.
On Sept. 25, join hundreds of neighbors at the Chestnut Street Parking Garage for the annual fundraising gala to support the West Chester Downtown Foundation, an organization dedicated to the ongoing beautification of the town center. Funds generated from the event support the group’s annual cleaning and flower-planting project, as well as marketing efforts to showcase West Chester as a leading downtown destination.
The event is set for the top floor of the garage, where you’ll find top-quality food, drinks, entertainment and more—all with spectacular sunset views of the town. Italian restaurant Limoncello will provide appetizers, while several of West Chester’s most popular bakeries will bring along their best sweet treats. As you snack and socialize, sip on beers and wines from area crafters, or indulge in the signature Rooftop martini to match the backdrop.
While the food and fun are plenty of reason to check out the event, it’s also a prime opportunity to mix and mingle with West Chester’s business community, which turns out in force for the gala. Learn about the organizations that are keeping the town as vibrant as it is and what you can do to take part in West Chester’s ongoing beautification. And, with an entirely outdoor setting, you can socialize without sacrificing safety.
